LA PORTE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS

La Porte, Texas— City of La Porte Fire Department is now accepting applications for the upcoming recruit class that starts in January 2012. If you are 18 years of age or older, reside within the City limits of La Porte or areas under La Porte Fire Department Protection, and desire to become an active member of the La Porte Volunteer Fire Department, you already meet a portion of the criteria to become a volunteer.

A full criteria list is part of the application, which is available at any Fire Station to pick up and is also available on the Fire Department’s website at www.lpfd.net. Applications must be complete and hand delivered to the Fire Administration Office, 124 South 2nd Street, by January 2, 2012.
