College of the Mainland Board of Trustees

The College of the Mainland Board of Trustees on Wednesday took no action regarding renewal of a lease for property at League City that currently houses the college's north county learning center.

The college currently operates the learning center at 200 Parker Court in League City. The item to consider renewal of the lease was pulled from the agenda.

The college board also took no action regarding additional parking at the north county learning center. The item was also removed from the agenda.

The college board voted unanimously to appoint Lisa Homburg as an assistant professor pharmacy technician.

The college board voted unanimously to appoint Deanna Machula as a skills lab coordinator in the Nursing Department.

The college board voted unanimously to appoint Blinka Sonja as director of the Purchasing Department.

The college board voted unanimously to approve tenure for John Presnall, a professor in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department.

The college board voted unanimously to approve a quality enhancement plan remodel project.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda

During the meeting, the college board received an update regarding the college's incoming interim president, Dr. Larry Durrence. Durrence will take the post on January 3.
