Texas A&M System Board of Regents to Hold Special Telephonic Meeting Dec. 20
COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will hold a special telephonic meeting Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 8 a.m. in Suite 3104 of the Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building, located at 301 Old Main Drive on the campus of Texas A&M University.
The meeting will convene in open session and immediately recess to executive session for deliberations regarding personnel matters. The Board will reconvene in open session to consider action on the following items:
• Delegation of authority to the president to execute employment contract with head football coach Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M University;
• Delegation of authority to the president to execute employment contract with head men’s basketball coach Billy Kennedy, Texas A&M;
• Appointment of dean of libraries, Texas A&M;
• Appointment of vice chancellor marketing and communications, The Texas A&M University System.
