Estella Telles Aldape

Estella Telles AldapeEstella Telles Aldape, 86, passed from this life Monday, December 19, 2011 in League City, Texas.   

Estella was born September 23, 1925 in Falfurrias, Texas to Daniel and Maria Guajardo Lopez Telles.  Estella was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a resident of Galveston for over 80 years until she went to live with her daughter in League City.   Estella worked for the City of Galveston as the Assistant Tax Collector for 32 years, retiring in 1990.

Estella is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jose Aldape.  She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Aldape; son-in-law Malcolm Anderson; son Joe Aldape; daughter-in-law Sandra Rotenberg; sisters Gary Gongora and Mary Lou Telles; grandchildren Joseph Aldape; Alexanne Aldape; Leigh Ann Anderson-Baker; Adam Rotenberg; Aaron Rotenberg; and many nieces and nephews.   She also leaves behind lifelong friends Frank and Herlinda Pelosi; Mike and Eudelia Copado; and Carmen and Richard Lopez.

Pallbearers are Mike Morgan, Tim Elzner, Malcolm Anderson, Joseph Aldape, Adam Rotenberg, Aaron Rotenberg, Robert Cambiano, and Richard Hare.  Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Garza, Frank Pelosi, Richard Lopez, Mike Copado, and Ralph Aldape.

The family of Estella will be receiving visitors beginning at 10 am on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 11 am.  Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or a charity of your choice.
