UHCL Commencement
HOUSTON - University of Houston-Clear Lake celebrated fall commencement in two ceremonies on Dec. 17, honoring those who completed degrees in the summer and the fall. Approximately 526 students of the 1,320 students who earned degrees participated in the 10 a.m. ceremony, which recognized students from the Schools of Business and Education.
Approximately 735 of the 949 fall graduating students and 225 of 371 summer graduates participated in University of Houston-Clear Lake's two commencement ceremonies Dec. 17. Among those attending and participating in the 3 p.m. commencement, which recognized graduates from the School of Human Sciences and Humanities and the School of Science and Computer Engineering, were UH-Clear Lake Senior Vice President and Provost Carl A. Stockton; UH System Board of Regents Chair Nelda Luce Blair; commencement speaker, alumna and UH-Clear Lake President's Cabinet Philanthropy Award Recipient Verva Densmore; and UH-Clear Lake President William A. Staples.
University of Houston-Clear Lake offers 40 undergraduate and 46 graduate degree programs, including a doctoral program, from its four schools, which include the School of Business, School of Education, School of Human Sciences and Humanities, and School of Science and Computer Engineering.
