RELIANT & METRO EXTEND FARE OFFER
FREE RAIL RIDE PLAY CLOCK STILL TICKING

Ride METRORail for FREE to the Houston Texans first playoff game in franchise history, courtesy of Reliant.

WHO: METRO and Reliant are extending their partnership to include the Texans first ever playoff appearance.

WHAT: The electricity provider will pay all light-rail fares during the team’s playoff game Saturday, Jan. 7, when the Texans take on the Cincinnati Bengals at 3:30 p.m. at Reliant Stadium.

WHEN: Free fares start at 5:30 a.m. game-day until midnight.

The specially wrapped Reliant train featuring an image of Texans All-Pro wide receiver Andre Johnson continues to pick up yards, and riders – 130,043 boardings since October 2. That’s when METRORail patrons started enjoying the free fares thanks to Reliant.

Why scramble to find a parking spot? There’s no special teams play needed to make it to the end zone – just ride METRORail, exit Reliant Park station and the stadium is a short walk away.
