Alvin Community Band seeking new members

The Alvin Community College and Alvin Community Band is looking for new members for the 2012 spring semester.

The band has openings for all instruments for those looking to start playing again. There is a particular need for French horn players.

There is no charge to join the band. The ages of current band members range from 18 to 85.

The Alvin Community Band plays six to eight concerts a year and rehearsals for spring will begin on January 19.
