I am sending this to lots of my friends and hope you will spread the word for me. It would not be Mardi Gras without the Mummers....how often have you heard that?? Well....I need help to get them here this year. It costs over $30,000 to pay all the expenses and to make matters worse, this year the big weekend of Mardi Gras is also President's three day weekend and air fares are off the scale.
I am in need of cash donations and auction items. We are having two fund raisers:
Friday 1/13/12 from 5pm-8pm at "21"...located at 21st Street and Postoffice. Half Price Drinks and Appetizers. Voluntary donation at the door and a silent auction. Make it a really good Friday the 13th!!!
Sunday 1/22/12 from 2pm-5pm at Third Coast Downtown, 2416 Postoffice. BRUNCH, $20 includes two mimosas, brunch, silent auction and special show.
