Joe Taylor, Jr., 59, departed this life on January 4, 2012, at UTMB surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born August 2, 1952 to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Taylor, Sr. in Galveston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Wafer Taylor; children, Shacom Taylor, Krystal Taylor (Josiah), Joe Taylor Johnson, and Joe Taylor III; stepchildren, Meoshia Veal (Brian), Dannon Wafer (Vanessa), Dedrick Wafer; siblings, Brenda Shinette (Terrance), Samuel Stanley (Verna); five grandchildren; devoted nephews, Kenneth Flowers, Broderick Jackson; host of other nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, January, 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. E.R. Johnson officiating.
