Update:METRO LIGHT RAIL SERVICE REESTABLISHED THROUGHOUT SYSTEM

Flood water has receded allowing normal rail service to resume throughout the METRORail system with stations operating from Fannin South to UH Downtown.

High water continues to cause some delays to bus service. Patrons should plan for longer transit commutes. Please check with METRO at 713-635-4000 if you have questions about bus service or visit www.ridemetro.org.

Katy Freeway east bound traffic is being diverted onto METRO’s HOV extension due to severe flooding on the freeway. The Katy HOV extension will be open to all traffic until flooding is reduced.
