Fire Chief Terry Garrison, Council Member Ed Gonzalez and members of the community will give brief remarks and celebrate the re-opening of Fire Station 30 on
Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
WHERE:
Fire Station 30, 6702 Irvington Blvd.
DETAILS:
Major renovations began in May of last year on Fire Station 30 and were completed in November 2011. Firefighters moved back into the station on November 14, 2011. Station 30, built in 1977, is a 7,888 square foot building which houses an engine, ambulance, ambulance supervisor and safety officer. During the renovation, the engine and ambulance remained on location in a modular building.
