Rotary Club of Texas City Announces 2nd Annual Mardi Gras on the Mainland Gala

The Rotary Club of Texas City is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras on the Mainland Gala to be held on February 11, 2012 at the Doyle Convention Center in Texas City. The Gala will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a Cajun style dinner catered by Benno’s, silent auction featuring fantastic items and dancing to continuous music throughout the evening. Dress for the evening will be After Five or Mardi Gras costumes. We are excited to have two amazing bands to provide non-stop music until midnight – Al White and the Chapparals Band (voted the #1 County and Western Band in Houston by Channel 2 in 2010) and Time in a Bottle Band (a local Classic Rock, Oldies and Blues Band).

Individual tickets are available for $75 per person. There are also various sponsorship levels available so that a company can find a perfect fit for their needs. The event will help provide funding for the many community projects Rotary does such as awarding senior students with scholarships, providing area kindergarten students with a personalized book and notable projects in the community such as the Rotary Pavilion, Rotary Fitness Trail, Shoal Lighthouse and many more community projects.
