The board met in executive session to discuss several items, but took no action following the closed meeting.

Items discussed included recommendations regarding the director of communications. The position was previously held by Denise McLean, who resigned recently to take another position.

The board also held closed meeting discussions regarding the performance of Superintendent Ecomet Burley, as well as future employment options with the superintendent.

The board had voted to suspend Burley and LMISDPD Chief Timothy Fields on November 14, but later revoked the 30-day suspensions with a split vote.

The school board voted unanimously to accept donations to the district.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Trustees Edward Jones and Travis Smith were absent.  Agenda
