BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology is extending registration for the Spring 2012 semester until Tuesday, Jan. 24.

New or transfer students who are younger than 30 must have received the bacterial meningitis vaccine by Saturday, Jan. 14 to be eligible to register on Jan. 24. The vaccine must be administered 10 days before registration.

The cashier’s office will be open until 7 p.m. on Jan. 23 and 24 for students to pay their tuition.

Students who are not able to register and pay by Jan. 24 should remember that there is an eight-week semester that begins on March 8. Interested students should also monitor the LIT Web site and Facebook presence for additional opportunities to register.
