Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted to award a contract to Phoenix I Restoration and Construction, Ltd. for the restoration and repair of the exterior of the Brazoria County Museum.

Phoenix I Restoration and Construction submitted a base bit of $296,000 and a total bid of $356,000 with two alternates added to the contract price.

The commissioners court voted to reappoint Tim Fox, Charles Richardson, Craig Peterson, James Gillenwaters and Eugene Fink to the Emergency Services District No. 2 Board of Commissioners.

The commissioners court voted to reappoint Gene Pell, Gene Barta, Allan Sassin, Randy Hester and William Baker to the Emergency Services District No. 1 Board of Commissioners.

The commissioners court voted to reappoint Madonna Ballard to the Children’s Protective Services Board.

The commissioners court voted to appoint Sheila Williams to the Children’s Protective Services Board.

The commissioners court voted to reappoint H.L. “Buddy” Baker, Jr. to the Brazoria County Toll Road Authority Board of Directors.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the renewal of contracts for waste management services. The item was pulled from the agenda.

The contracts are with United Site Services and Brazosport Environmental and Recycling Services, at the current contract rate, and with Waste Connections with a three percent increase.

The commissioners court took no action regarding a request for a price increase for traffic paint and beads.  The item was pulled from the agenda.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the 2011 Texas Commission on Environmental Quality LIRAP contract.  The item was pulled from the agenda.

All other items were approved.  All members were present.  Agenda
