June Marie Antwine was born June 9, 1951 in Galveston, TX. She passed away on January 17, 2012, at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and husband, Ethelberd Shepperd. She is survived by her sister, Georgie Mae Benefield; brothers, Lonnie F., Sterlin J., and Kirk Benefield, Norris and Eugene Ellis; devoted friend and mentor, Kenneth L. Jackson, Sr. (Earlene); Godson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Kerry W. Tillmon officiating.
The family would like to give thanks to Sis. Effie Louise Holt, Sis. Mary Mozie, and member of the Greater Bell Zion Baptists Church for their support.
