Sugar Land Asks that you Respond if Called
Sugar Land, Texas – Sugar Land residents may soon receive phone calls asking about their satisfaction with City programs and services.

The City is continuing its citywide, every two-year telephone survey program conducted by Creative Consumer Research, an independent research firm based in Fort Bend County.  The statistically valid and random telephone survey will take about three weeks to complete and will be conducted beginning the last week in February.

“We conduct this survey every two years,” said City Manager Allen Bogard.  “We are proud of the level and quality of services and programs our residents currently enjoy, but we want to ensure that we continue on the right track.  Our citizens’ feedback is very important, and I respectfully ask our residents to take 15 minutes to answer the survey questions, if called.”

The survey will offer direct feedback from residents throughout the City on customer service in such areas as response to water and sewer service, streets and sidewalk maintenance and police and fire safety in the community.  There also are questions on city services such as recreation, utilities, code enforcement, waste management and communications with residents.

Quality of life questions will focus on areas such as the appearance of neighborhoods, mobility, entertainment opportunities and Sugar Land’s overall appeal as a place to live.

Survey calls will read “Creative Consumer Research” on caller ID equipment.   Residents who have questions about the survey process may call (281) 275-2328 at City Hall for further information.  Results of the survey should be available later this year.  The data from the survey will be used to review and evaluate current City services for continued improvement.
