TCISD School Board applications now available

Texas City ISD is now accepting candidate filing documents for the May 12 school board general election. Two seats are up for re-election: District 6, currently held by Hal Biery; and the At-Large position, currently held by David Moss. The trustees' term is for three years, ending May 2015.  The deadline for filing is 5 p.m. on Monday, March 5. Candidate filing packets are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays at the Simpson Education Support Center, 1700 Ninth Avenue North.
