Third Coast Syndicate, a charitable, social organization, in Galveston County, is hosting the 2nd Annual Helping Hands Festival/Benefit to promote “Hands are for helping, not hurting.”
The Festival will be held March 24th, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Rotary Pavillion, near the Nessler Center, on Pheonix Lane, in Texas City.
The Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston, they help victims (women and children) of domestic violence and sexual abuse, receives every dollar raised at this event. For information about their wonderful organization, visit their website at
It is a family friendly event. We will have a children's area with bounce houses, sno cones, popcorn, and other fun things for the kids. BBQ plates served for $7.00 each from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., cooking by the award winning Double M Cookers. Live, local bands and a DJ will provide music and entertainment. There will be vendor booths with items to sell and community service booths.
A motorcycle fun run will begin signing up bikes/riders
at 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. We will have a live and silent auction with tons of great stuff to buy. Please come and support the Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County.
