Gov. Perry Appoints Elliott to North Texas Tollway Authority Board of Directors
Austin, Texas - Gov. Rick Perry has appointed William "Bill" Elliott of Ravenna to the North Texas Tollway Authority Board of Directors for a term to expire Aug. 31, 2013. The board oversees building, maintenance and operations of turnpike projects in North Texas.
Elliott is an attorney in private practice. He is a member of the American and Dallas Bar associations, and a member and past board chairman of the State Bar of Texas. He is also a past member of the Trinity River Authority Board of Directors and Texas State Depository Board.
Elliott received a bachelor's degree from Southeastern State College in Oklahoma, a law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and a Master of Laws specializing in tax law from New York University School of Law.
