Monday, February 06, 2012

An electrical short in the wall of a southwest Houston apartment caused a fire late Sunday, February 5, 2012. The Houston Fire Department was dispatched to the fire in the 7600 block of S. Braeswood Blvd at 10:23 p.m. and arrived on scene within two minutes. Approximately 30 firefighters responded to the incident which was tapped out by 10:40 p.m. The fire caused about $17 thousand in damage. There were no reported injuries.
