Texas Governor Rick Perry has made several appointments to the Public Safety Commission, the Texas Bioenergy Policy Council, and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
Governor Perry reappointed John T. Steen Jr. of San Antonio to the Public Safety Commission for a term to expire Jan. 1, 2018. The commission formulates and oversees policies for the Texas Department of Public Safety. Appointment
Governor Perry reappointed James Brody of Lufkin, Paul Dickerson of Houston, Kevin Land of Lake Jackson, and Danny Vines of Lufkin to the Texas Bioenergy Policy Council for terms to expire Jan. 1, 2014. The council unifies Texas' agricultural, energy and research strengths to foster development in the bioenergy industry, and create next-generation biofuels energy research and economic development. Governor Perry appointed Donna Lord Black of Fulshear, Jo Ann Campbell of Abilene, and Doris Couch of Burleson to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for terms to expire Oct. 31, 2017. The board regulates the practice of psychology in Texas. Appointments
