Mayor Joe Jaworski, accompanied by his wife Rebecca, signed papers officially adding his name to Galveston's May 12 mayoral election ballot.

In making his announced re-election bid official, Mayor Jaworski said   "I'm proud of my community, and everywhere you look Galveston is improving and growing. Our Island home is finally achieving it's elusive potential. I look forward to delivering a robust, positive campaign and to continuing to help lead this great City."
