Streets Update
This week the contractor was off the job site on Monday and Tuesday due to the weekend rains.
Yesterday, the contractor was remixing lime on the second half of 8th street. Today the contractor is going to continue to mix and work towards density of the subgrade for the second half of 8th street and place base on the second half of Raider Street. Tomorrow if gradation and density pass the contractor will start to place steel and form the second half of 8th street.
In preparation for the Galloway Gallop 5K/10K/KidsK run on Saturday morning, City crews will be sweeping gravel debris on Texas Avenue, and patching potholes with cold mix. Contractors will also be touching up the construction area on Bradford near 8th Street.
