Judge emmett to discuss state of the county at annual greater houston partnership event
houston – Judge Ed Emmett will discuss the State of the County at GHP’s annual luncheon. In addition to touching upon the issues facing the county, he will also discuss some of the many accomplishments his administration saw in 2011.
While GHP serves a large 10-county region, Harris is the largest county in its service area, as well as being the third most populous county in the United States. Home to many of the region’s economic engines, such as the energy sector, the Port of Houston, the Texas Medical Center and the Johnson Space Center, Harris County plays a crucial role in the economic wellbeing of the region and state.
