Veteran Energy Helps Ensure That “The Mission Continues”
Houston
- Veteran Energy is pleased to announce it’s newest affiliate partnership with The Mission Continues, a veteran-support organization that challenges post-9/11 veterans to rebuild a sense of purpose through community service.
Founded in 2007 when Navy SEAL Eric Greitens returned from Iraq, The Mission Continues offers paid service fellowships to post-9/11 veterans, fueled by a deep belief that our veterans are assets. Many veterans struggle to find the same purpose at home as they found in the mission, camaraderie and structure of the military. Through service, veterans find renewed strength and purpose while building stronger communities back home in the United States.
CEO and Founder Kevin Barber said “We are pleased to make a contribution to The Mission Continues to support their work with Texas veterans for every customer who enrolls for electric service and chooses this worthy group as recipient of their enrollment donation. Like The Mission Continues, our company strives to positively impact the lives of our Veterans and Active Duty Military at every opportunity.”
As a certified Veteran Owned Business, Veteran Energy is a vocal proponent of Veteran-first initiatives in hiring and procurement throughout local, state and federal agencies. The company is also the only 100% veteran-owned retail electric provider licensed by the PUCT in the state of Texas.
Veteran Energy serves all residential, commercial and industrial users, regardless of status or affiliation with the military.
