Beaumont Civic Ballet will present “Fairy Tales in Dance,” a two-act performance which includes the BCB Junior Company dancing a rendition of “It’s a Hard-Knock Life” from Annie, Don Quixote pas de deux, plus two all-time favorite fairy tales, "Peter and the Wolf" and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." These dances are all performed by local children.

“Peter and the Wolf," narrated by Sting, is a musical symphony for children, featuring a hungry wolf who is after Peter's pet cat, a bird and a duck that lives in Peter's yard. The second fairy tale, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” is a version of the classic Grimm's Fairy Tale of Snow White, her Blue Bird friend along with the seven little men who live in the forest. The wicked Queen is a villain most will not forget. This ballet is choreographed by Megan Anderson, Ballet Mistress of the Beaumont Civic Ballet.

The Beaumont Civic Ballet is supported by grants and contributions. Tickets begin at $5:, Civic Center Box Office: 409-838-3435 Ext. 1.
