Patricia Yvonne Hayes, a devoted mother, devoted grandmother, sister, and friend, was joined with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in glory on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

Pat was born January 15, 1951, in Galveston, Texas to Jean Louisa Bell and Robert Bell. She attended public school in Galveston and graduated with the Ball High School class of 1969.

Pat was a member of the Voices of Judah at Compton Memorial COGIC, and was employed at the Health Initiatives Learning Center in Galveston, where she served as office manager.

Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Jean L. Jackson; father, Robert Bell; grandmother, Minnie Lambert; and brother, Ronald Bell.

Pat leaves with cherished memories, her daughters: Angela Hayes, Jabeena Johnson and Brandy Artola (Antonio); brother: Michael Bell; sister: Sherri Lynn Williams; grandchildren: Quinette, Renard, Takia, Nyia, Valencia, Antonio III, and Elysa; aunts: Donaldleen King, Joyce Davenport (Charles), Debra Shelby and Paula Hameed; and a host to nieces, nephews other relatives and friends

Visitation will begin at 9AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM at Compton Memorial C.O.G.I.C. , Elder Robert E. Woodard III officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
