Santa Fe ISD Board of Trustees
by Garrett Bryce
Tuesday, February 21, 2012

The Santa Fe Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to approve a contract with Start & Busch, LLC to provide auditing services for the FY2012 year-end audit.

The school board voted to approve the superintendent’s submission of an eminent domain registration.

Under legislation approved by the 82nd Texas Legislature, entities authorized by the state to exercise eminent domain must submit a letter to the Texas Comptroller’s Office by the end of the year identifying the provisions of the law that grant such authority.  Without the letter, the entity’s authority to exercise eminent domain would expire as of September 1, 2013.

The school board voted to approve the purchase of library shelving for Kubacak Elementary.

The school board voted to approve field trip rates for the 2012-2013 school year.

All items were approved.  All votes were unanimous with all members present.  Agenda
