Cornyn: An ‘All-of-the-Above’ Energy Plan Starts with Keystone

WASHINGTON – Today U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following statement in advance of the President’s energy speech today:

“This Administration has consistently pushed policies that have driven gas prices to nearly double what they were when President Obama was inaugurated.

“An ‘all of the above’ energy strategy starts with signing off on the Keystone XL pipeline and the tens of thousands of American jobs that come with it, which the President could do with the simple stroke of a pen.”

Senator Cornyn serves on the Finance, Judiciary, Armed Services and Budget Committees.  He serves as the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee’s Immigration, Refugees and Border Security subcommittee. He served previously as Texas Attorney General, Texas Supreme Court Justice, and Bexar County District Judge.
