The music faculty of the Galveston Island Arts Academy will perform its ninth annual faculty recital at the Galveston Island Arts Academy on Friday, April 27, at 7:00 pm.  The concert is the final event for the Ninth Annual Concert Series.  The program is open to the public with prior reservations.  Performing this year are pianists, Viktoriya Barton and Susan Vaughan; guitarists James McQuage, Trent Mintor, and Tom Wood; vocalist, Beth Slaughter; and clarinetist, Lynne Springer.  This program is part of the GIAA’s ongoing commitment to provide excellence in instruction and programming for Galveston and the Galveston area.  The event is open to subscribers of the 2011-2012 concert series and by reservation.  There is limited seating for non-subscribers, thus reservations are encouraged.  Tickets are $17.00 for Adults, $15.00 for Seniors and Students.  Contact 409-771-4438 or galvestonislandartsacademy@yahoo.com.
