MODERATOR, HOST CHANGE FOR THURSDAY’S U.S. SENATE DEBATE ANNOUNCED

BY GREATER HOUSTON PARTNERSHIP, HOUSTON PUBLIC MEDIA

Houston – On Thursday, May 3, Texans will be able to hear from the major candidates running for United States Senate from both the democratic and republican parties in a televised debate sponsored by Houston Public Media and the Greater Houston Partnership. The event, “Conversations with the Candidates,” will now be hosted by KUHT-TV’s Ernie Manouse and moderated by KUHF-FM’s Laurie Johnson and Dave Fehling. The debate was scheduled to be moderated by the hosts of HoustonPBS’ “Red, White, and Blue.” Circumstances relating to campaign developments have led to this change in the program.
