Manuel Estrada, age 64, passed away on April 28, 2012 after a long battle with diabetes. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Felipe Estrada and Candelaria Escalante Estrada of Bloomington; 2 brothers, Jaun and Raymond of Placido and his daughter, Priscilla Estrada Gonzalez of Corpus Christi.

Left to cherish his memories are: his wife Linda, the following children: Nicolasa Estrada Lopez and spouse, Manuel Estrada Jr., both of Corpus Christi, Carlyss Babcock of Louisiana, Erik Estrada of Corpus Christi, Regina Lakey and spouse of Kingwood, Luis Vega, Ramona Vega and spouse from Texas City, Raquel Sanders and spouse from Santa Fe; 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; his sister Estella Galloway, brother-in-law Timothy Lopez of Galveston, sister Anita from Victoria, sister Connie and brother-in-law Andrew from Dallas, nephew Raymond Galloway and spouse from Galveston, neice Cindy Medina and spouse from Dickinson, numerous other neices, nephews, cousins and countless friends as well as his church family, Covenant Word Church in Webster.

Services are being held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston.  Doors open @ 5:00 PM this Wednesday, May 2.  A Wake begins @ 6:30 PM with Rev. James Benson officiating. The main Memorial Service is Thursday, May 3 @ 10:00 AM with Pastor Wally Hamilton officiating; followed by a Memorial fellowship dinner.
