Lamar University’s A Cappella Choir spring concert, “Love yoU"

Lamar University’s A Cappella Choir will present their spring concert, “Love yoU,” under the direction of conductor James Han at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas. Han, director of choral studies at Lamar, will lead the choir in selections of love songs spanning the centuries including Thomas Tallis’s “If Ye Love Me,” Johannes Brahms’s “Liebeslieder (Love Song Waltzes)," all the way through Duke Ellington’s “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore.” The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is located 500 Main St. in Beaumont.
