Thursday, May 03, 2012

Taylor Lake Village City Council on Wednesday voted 3-1, with Lilian Norman-Keeney opposed, to amend the city's noise ordinance regarding building operations at night.

The amendment will require that on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, building equipment, including lawn equipment, may not operate between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Currently, equipment can operate at 7 a.m.

The city council tabled action regarding an amendment to the city's Code of Ordinances regarding animals.

The city council voted unanimously to issue a proclamation declaring June 3-9 as National Management Week in America 2012.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Alan Koelemay was absent. Agenda
