Professor Lamb Awarded Adjunct Faculty of the Year for Academic Year 2011-2012
Houston - Supply chain Industrial Distribution Organization is pleased to recognize Professor James Lamb, Adjunct Professor of Logistics at the University of Houston, as Adjunct Faculty of the Year for his dedication and continuous support to our members.
“It is with great pleasure to honor an astute professor such as James Lamb,” said Sam Holmes, Vice President of SIDO. “Professor Lamb has gone above and beyond his regular teaching duties to help our members; therefore, I am pleased to present him this award on behalf of our student organization.”
Adjunct Faculty of Year is a distinct recognition that is awarded to an adjunct professor who has gone above and beyond his/her regular teaching duties to promote students success in and outside of the classroom. Professor Lamb is the first recipient of this award. SIDO also recognized several professors and members last fall and this spring with other awards such as faculty of the month, volunteer of the year, and member of the month.

The Supply chain Industrial Distribution Organization is an organization of supply chain and logistics students at the University of Houston-College of Technology.
The goals of SIDO are to promote the Supply Chain and Logistics Technology program under the College of Technology and to enhance students learning experience through extracurricular activities that promote professional development, academics excellence, leadership and community service. SIDO currently has over 125 active members.
