The Dickinson Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to appoint Jeff Pack as principal of McAdams Junior High.
Pack currently serves as associate principal at McAdams.
The board voted unanimously to name Kimberly Wilson as associate principal at McAdams, filling the vacancy left by Pack’s promotion.
Wilson currently serves as an assistant principal at Barber Middle School.
The board voted unanimously to renew an interlocal agreement with the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office for the district’s school liaison officer program. The agreement will continue for an additional three years.
The school board voted unanimously to cancel the May 12 election for District 3 on the board of trustees.
Incumbent Fritzie Samford is unopposed for the race, and will be sworn in for a new term following the election. An election is still being held for District 4 on the board, with incumbent Jeff Pittman in a race against challenger Frank Farmilette, III.
