GHA Moving Forward With Redevelopment Plan
Galveston, Texas
- The Galveston Housing Authority (GHA) will hold a press conference on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Island Community Center located at 4700 Broadway in Galveston.
The subject will be GHA’s redevelopment plan that was recently submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the General Land Office (GLO). Mayor Joe Jaworski, GHA Commissioners, The Galveston Northside Taskforce, The Galveston County Coalition for Justice, Gulf Coast Interfaith, LULAC, Galveston Council #151, NAACP, Galveston Unit #6180, NAACP Mainland Branch Unit #620, Barbour’s Chapel Community Development Corporation and other partners will be in attendance.
