Texas Civil Justice League PAC Endorses Dr. Greg Bonnen

The Texas Civil Justice League PAC has endorsed Dr. Greg Bonnen for House District 24.  The Texas Civil Justice League has worked to restore fairness and stability to the state’s civil justice system for more than 25 years.

Carol Sims, TCJL PAC Treasurer, said, “Dr. Greg Bonnen’s experience as a business owner and physician make him acutely aware of the need for business liability reforms.  As the next State Representative for District 24, we know Dr. Bonnen will be a valuable partner in maintaining and advancing lawsuit reforms that are good for Texans.”

“Frivolous lawsuits are damaging to small businesses, the court system, and our overall economy, which is why I am committed to keeping frivolous lawsuits out of Texas.  I appreciated Texas Civil Justice League’s endorsement and will support their efforts to protect the important lawsuit reforms that have helped keep Texas’ economy strong,” Dr. Bonnen said.

Support for Dr. Bonnen’s campaign continues to grow, including endorsements from Texas Right to Life, Young Conservatives of Texas, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Texas Association of Realtors, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Medical Association, Texas Hospital Association, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Texas Association of Business.

In addition to being a successful neurosurgeon and founding partner of Houston Physicians’ Hospital, Dr. Bonnen is the founder and President of the Texas Brain and Spine Center.  A member of the Heritage Bank Board of Directors, he also devotes his time to missions with Builders without Borders of Texas, Friendswood Community Church, and the Medical Strategic Network. Dr. Bonnen and his wife, Kim, have lived in Friendswood for more than a decade with their two daughters.
