Mrs. Jessie Mae Howard, 68, received her reward of eternal rest on May 9, 2012, at Gulf Health Care Center in Galveston.
Jessie was born June 19, 1943, in Marshall, Texas. She was a nurse assistant for 25 years at UTMB.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves with cherished memories, her husband: Otis Howard; son: Henry Perry; stepchildren: Curtis Anderson, Patricia Perkins, Johnny Howard, Vernon Howard; grandchildren: Chreston , Raven, Ka’Mari and Chreston Perry Jr.; a devoted sister-in-law : Annie George; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May, 17, 2012, at Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Michael Dwyer officiating. She will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery.
