Unofficial City Council Election Results

On Saturday, May 12, 2012 the City of Seabrook held a general election for City Council Positions #1, #3 and #5.

The unofficial results are as follows:

Position #1: Automatic Recount Required

Position #2: Gary Johnson

Position #3: Thom Kolupski

A candidate must receive a majority of votes in Seabrook to be elected. If no one receives a majority of the votes, the two candidates receiving the most votes will enter into a runoff election. However, as there is a tie for the second highest number of votes for Position #1 an automatic recount will be conducted.

The City Secretary's Office will contact the Secretary of State's Office and ES&S on Monday, May 14, 2012 to ensure proper procedures are followed for the recount.

More information about the runoff election will be posted as it becomes available.
