My sincere thanks to all of the volunteers and supporters, to all of the new friends I met on the campaign trail, and to everyone who voted for me in the Galveston mayoral election. I could not have done it without your help, and I am forever grateful.

I appreciate your time, effort and encouragement. Thank you also to my opponents in this election and to all of the candidates for city offices–it took courage and sacrifice to step forward as you did, and all of Galveston should be appreciate that.

I also want to say this campaign has made my faith in Galvestonians even stronger than it was before. With so many good citizens so actively involved in shaping our future, I am sure we have bright days ahead.
