Galveston City Secretary Douglas Godinich reports that 47 of the 95 provisional ballots cast in Saturday's Galveston Municipal Election have been verified and will be added to the tally on Saturday.

"The Ballot Board concluded processing provisional ballots at 7:20 p.m. and will reconvene tomorrow, Saturday at 2:00 p.m. for tabulation at the County Courthouse on 59th Street.  95 Provisional Ballots were delivered by the Voter Registrar. 47 ballots shall be tabulated and added into the totals tomorrow."

Godinich said that 48 provisional ballots were rejected by the Ballot Board.
