Dickinson ISD Board of Trustees

The Dickinson Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to name Jamie Williams as assistant principal of McAdams Junior High.

Williams currently serves as a teacher at Dickinson High School.

The board voted unanimously to elect new officers for the board.  Fritzie Samford was named president, J.T. Floyd as vice president, and Patty Halter as secretary.

The board unanimously canvassed the results of the May 12 election for District 4.

Jeff Pittman was sworn in for another term as trustee for District 4.  Pittman defeated Frank Farmilette in his re-election bid. 

Fritizie Samford, who was unopposed, was sworn in for another term in District 3.

The board took no action regarding the superintendent’s evaluation.  The item was discussed during an executive session.

The board discussed the FY2013 budget.  No action was taken on the item.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  All members were present.  Agenda
