Hurricane Preparedness Meeting

On Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. the City of Seabrook Office of Emergency Management will host a Hurricane Preparedness Meeting at Seabrook City Hall, 1700 First Street.

The primary goal of the meeting is to encourage Seabrook residents to get “prepared”. Hurricane season officially starts Friday, June 1, 2012 and every resident needs to have a plan in place prior to a hurricane hitting the Texas coast.

During the meeting Dan Riley with the National Weather Service will make a presentation on predications for the upcoming season.  Sean Landis the city’s Community Development Director will also be there to answer questions regarding flood insurance.
