Brazoria County
Brazoria County Commissioners Court
by Garrett Bryce
Wednesday, May 30, 2012

Brazoria County Commissioners Court, in a special meeting today, voted unanimously to amend an engineering services agreement with Coast and Harbor Engineering, Inc. for the design of improvements to County Road 257, also known as Bluewater Highway.

The amendment will require an additional $57,995 in funding, which will be reimbursed by the Texas General Land Office. The extra funding will support additional assessment to delineate wetlands along the County Road 257 right-of-way.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 29 for the construction of an emergency interconnect water line with Brazoria County MUD No. 21.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to advertise for bids for the construction of a bridge replacement at County Road 304.

No other items were on the agenda. County Judge Joe King and Commissioner Matt Sebesta were absent.  Agenda
