Samson Energy Company and NRG join forces to help Community
Deweyville, Texas – On Wednesday, Samson Energy Company and NRG representatives were on hand in Deweyville to host the opening of the newly renovated Deweyville Park & Playground. Residents of the community were welcomed to enjoy the new space as hamburgers, hotdogs, and sno-cones were served to all who attended.
Together Samson and NRG contributed close to $40,000 to help renovate and improve the community’s recreation area. Improvements include new fencing around the basketball court, shade structure with picnic tables, and a new playground complete with slides and swings.
Samson takes pride in participating in projects that improve the communities such as this. Along with NRG’s contribution, this project will benefit the community and residents for years to come.
