The College of the Mainland Board of Trustees will hold public forums on Thursday to gather public input from the community, students and employees concerning the criteria and credentials for the college’s next president.
The first forum will start at 10 a.m., with the second starting at 6 p.m. Both forums will be held at the Learning Resources Auditorium.
On Friday, the board will meet in a workshop session to meet with Dr. Preston Pulliams, a consultant with Goldhill Associates, to discuss the criteria of the search for the next president. Agenda
A special called meeting will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. to consider and take action on defining criteria for the search. Agenda
Dr. Larry Durrence has served as interim president of the college since January. Dr. Michael Elam, previous president of COM, resigned in November.
