Celebrate Juneteenth at COM!

Featuring with a solo vocal performance, a student poetry reading and a history of Juneteenth, COM’s commemoration of this historic event will be both educational and celebratory. Sam Collins III, historian, will discuss the theme, “Awakening the Passion for Freedom.”

The free event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, in the COM Learning Center Auditorium. Lunch will follow the presentation.
