Taylor Lake Village City Council

Taylor Lake Village City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to accept an engagement letter from Belt Harris Pechacek, LLLP, to conduct the city's audit for FY2012 and FY2013.

The city has used Belt Harris Pechacek for several of its previous audits.

The city council tabled action regarding approval of a contract with Jack Fryday to serve as building official for the city.

The item was discussed in executive session.

The city council voted unanimously to name Michael Thomas as an animal control officer for the city.

The city council voted unanimously to renew an agreement with the Harris County Watershed Protection group for compliance with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System requirements by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

The agreement includes an annual cost of $1878.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Mayor Jon Powell was absent. Mayor Pro Tem Lilian Norman-Keeney presided over the meeting. Agenda
